Route & General Observations

Witnessed a large glide crack avalanche today in Seattle Creek @ Turny around 4pm Saturday. Not human triggered from what I could tell. There were a couple of sled tracks about 100 yds to the right of the slide. We were riding in the drainage area for close to 2 hours prior, and saw no other action or sign of impeding release. Seemed sympathetic to sun/spring shed??

Observed from the top of Triangle Bowl looking down in Seattle Creek. Estimate 1-1.5 miles away from slide. Sounded like a jet taking off or explosion. Not a large snow cloud, looks similar to a landslide videos with slabs/chunks the size of small homes or tractor trailers floating down. Debris continued to move down close to 1 min after the main slide occurrence from the top.

First large glide on this this specific aspect (East.) Notice 2 sledders in lower left of picture.
