Great afternoon in the rain for CNFAIC’s meet and greet at the ‘Turnagain Pass 20 Years Later’ event! While there we noted several new avalanches from today.
- Most scenic – Tincan’s CFR bowl (lower SW face of the ridge, 2500′ elev.).
- New glide avalanche on Eddies SW face (~2,500′).
- We spoke with the Alaska Avalanche School Level 1 course who saw and heard 3 avalanches on the North aspect of Sunburst (elev. unknown).
- This course also witnessed wet avalanche debris in motion on Seattle Ridge (just South of the moto lot, East aspect, elev. unknown).
