Avalanche: Summit
Location: Road Observation of Summit Lake Area
Clear and colder temperatures this morning. Many Glide Avalanches have released in the past few days. All new avalanches were associated with glide crack releases. Additional glide cracks have formed on Gilpatrick and Summit Peak (East Aspects).
These new glide cracks are at lower to mid elevations. See Pictures.

Watch out for the presence of glide cracks on your route. Many of the new glide cracks were hard to make out without the use of binoculars.
