Observer Comments

Several recent avalanches were observed in large slide paths along the Seward Hwy and in Portage Valley.
Five Sisters slide path in Portage ran nearly to valley floor, but did not quite the to trail below.
Kern Creek ran to valley floor as observed yesterday, and several smaller slides near Peterson creek and Bird ran about 50-60% of total slide path.
Several small avalanches were observed in gullies along Seattle Ridge, but nothing running all the way to the valley floor. Visibility was too obscure to see anything on the East side of the road.
