Observer Comments

Many recent avalanches, D2's and D3's from Magnum South to Silvertip. All on Northern and Western aspects. See photo below.

*Due to poor visibility and heavier precipitation I was not able to see above 2500' on the Northern side of Turnagain Pass. Could not see Sunburst and all of the peaks to its North.

Sky: Obscured, but had windows of good vis South of Sunburst
Precip: Moderate to light rain on South side of Turnagain, heavy rain North of Tincan
Wind: 10-20 mph along the road

Snow surface

Very wet saturated snow along the roadside.
1' of wet snow on N side of Pass, near Motorized lot
4" of wet snow at Bertha Cr.
