Route & General Observations

Got a pocket of visibility, so drove Turnagain Pass down to Johnson Pass parking lot and turned around. Lots of standing water, and lots of flowing water too! A few recent natural avalanches were spotted.

1400 hrs @ Turnagain Pass (1000 ft): Broken skies, 35 degrees F, calm gusting to 2 from SE, no precip.

Snow surface

The snow along the road is completely saturated slush.

Snowpack

Snowline looked like it made it down to about 1500 ft last night. South end of the pass has no snow coverage below 1000 feet.
