Two remotely triggered avalanches on Tincan today around 2:15pm, on South and North aspects of CFR ridge. No one was caught. I spoke with a group in the parking area who said they had experienced collapsing, especially when all three of them were grouped together. They didn’t witness the slide, but submitted first photo below.
Update: another group in the area reported they heard the large collapse and witnessed the avalanche occur.
Visibility was good in Turnagain Pass and was able to get eyes on road side mountains. Sunburst SW face, as reported by a party on Dec.4, avalanched mid-storm. Pete’s South looked suspect of natural mid storm avalanche, but couldn’t confirm. Debris was not obvious. Seattle Ridge SE face was wind loaded with lots of cross loaded gullies. No obvious avalanches post storm.

Two remote triggered avalanches on Tincan, both N. and S. aspects of CFR ridge. Northern avalanche was shallow but propagated pretty far. Southern avalanche was much deeper and in a wind loaded area.

Sunburst SW aspect. Notice the area that is mostly rocks. This avalanche was observed on Dec.4, and reported as a remote triggered avalanche
Pete's South - SW aspect may have also slid mid-storm based on its lack of snow appearance compared to other peaks of the same aspect
Seattle Ridge up track - obvious loading and cross loading in this area
Cross loaded gullies on SE aspect of Seattle Ridge
