Observation: Turnagain

Location: Road Obs and Seattle Ridge glide avalanches

Route & General Observations

Drove through Turnagain Pass between 4pm and 4:30pm. Observed evidence (crown + debris) of a new glide avalanche on Repeat offender. After I left Turnagain Pass two more glide avalanche occurred is this area and were documented by the DOT Turnagain RWIS web cam. See photos below. There were also numerous small (D1-D1.5) wet loose natural avalanches along the entire Southeast side of Seattle Ridge, including a new one that touched the ‘up-track’ on the motorized side.
