Route & General Observations

Drove through Turnagain Pass at around 3 pm prior to tour up Sunburst. Sunny skies and wind transport at ridgetops with wind devils transporting snow all the way down to the road. Pluming at ridgetops was still going strong at 6:30 pm when we left the pass.

Variable winds with pluming across most ridgetops. Northwest wind loading SE aspects along Seattle Ridge. North winds loading Southern aspects of Sunburst. Northwest winds blowing snow up from below treeline into Taylor Creek. SW winds loading North aspects of Magnum.
