Route & General Observations

Today we skinned up ragged mountain’s E shoulder, we found wind effect above treeline which varied from 1/4″ to 3″ slabs. We had several collapses and got one large collapse with shooting cracks that shot about 50 ft uphill of us at about 1500ft just as we got above treeline.

we dug a pit right above the shooting crack, and we got no propagation in an ECT which I found interesting. We then dug 2 more pits right above the shooting crack and got the same results, no propagation.
