Route & General Observations

We toured up Rabbit Creek to Ptarmigan Pass to check out snow. We looked into Peak 3, 3.5, 4, and Flaketop.
Surface was a variable mix of different types of terrible snow: sastrugi, hollow wind board, skiffs of soft slab, and large swaths of uncovered Halloween crust.
But, the temperature was in the double digits above zero.
