Walked up the Rabbit creek trail to mid slope Ptarmigan dug at 3400 ft. Mostly rocky thin snow pack and wind effected except for the flats.

I was able to get Propagation to the ground in an ECT test. ECTP 17 --> 65 cm HS, a touch of surface windblown snow on a melt freeze crust with 10 cms of facets under it. Then a 1F+ slab for 40 cms on top of another 10 cms of basal facets on the ground. Ended up skiing from there.
