Snow surface

4-6" of new/blown in snow

Snowpack

HS = 60 cm, Aspect: SW, slope angle: 28deg Elev ~ 3500
roughly 6" down there is a rain crust that is about as hard as they come. It was challenging to even get my shovel blade to penetrate the icy rain crust which effectively locked up the snow pack to the ground . No tests done as it was literally too difficult to isolate a column.
