Observation: Portage / Placer
Location: Portage valley. Dreams of Brown moose approach
Debris up to 6 feet deep on approach to Dreams of Brown Moose in Portage valley. No other signs of
activity. Best guess is that this came down in the last 2 or 3 days. Scary. Be aware, there are dangerous
conditions in specific locations even though the snowpack is thin. Being on approach or on the climb
when this came down would be very bad news.
