Two natural cornice fall triggered avalanches. The one on Byron reached the creek. The Shakespeare's Shoulder avalanche was larger and triggered an additional slab down low. Unfortunately the light was pretty flat and the iPhone camera inadequate to capture either particularly well. These are the first reported natural large cornice falls. These are lower elevation than most of the core advisory corniced ridges with the exception of the terrain in Seattle Creek.
