Standard uptrack, up to the Ridgeline, no red flags, good surface conditions

3-4" new snow, warm (20s) with very light NE wind on ridgeline, minimal wind below, overcast in morning opening up to blue skies and surprisingly strong sun in the afternoon

Snow surface

Few inches of settled powder with a palpable firm crust underneath until just above treeline


Informal tests and hand pits showing seemingly right side up snow pack with relatively good bonding of new snow,
wind drift off the ridge which was not readily reactive
