Route & General Observations

Toured up Pete’s North and South on elevations up to 2400′. Covered Southwest to Northwest aspects. Dug a pit to confirm/check out what was going on at the top of snow pack at low elevations.

Snow surface

An inch or two of snow on top of a solid melt-freeze crust at low elevations. Variable wind-affected snow surfaces above 1500'.
