Typical ski track up through a mix of trees and open terrain. Crusty at lower elevations and icy where tracked out. Softer snow was found higher up

Cracking and breakable crust observed at and above tree line and at some isolated features below tree line.
Low winds and high clouds prevented the sun from a rapid warming of the snow pack. Mid teens to start at the mountain base at around 9:30am. Low twenties up at 2200ft at 1pm
Wind affected on open areas on NW through SW facing slopes except in protected areas. Crusty and mostly tracked out at low elevations. Far from the best riding conditions below 1500ft.
Wind scoured on WNW exposed slopes. Wind loaded on W-SW facing slopes at and above tree line. Soft snow up in the alpine but not very stable as pit revealed.
Dug a 120 cm deep pit:

W/NW aspect
HS 235cm
Slope Angle: 26 degrees
CT 7 25cm down
