Large partially filled in crown line from the most recent natural cycle extended wall to wall on the face just north of the saddle

Location: Pete's North
Toured up Pete’s North then up to Saddle between Pete’s North and South. Survival skiing from road to about 1400 ft with a thick melt-freeze crust, then a dramatic transition to soft settled powder above that heading into the alpine.
Observed no recent signs of instability with the snowpack setting up strong after the last few weeks of active storm tracks. Small surface hoar and some riming observed above treeline.
