Avalanche: Girdwood

Location: Penguin Peak

Route & General Observations

The West Couloir on Penguin peak had a large debris pile at its base visible from Seward Highway. Couldn’t quite make out the start, but assume it was at the top, possibly from a cornice release. May be from multiple natural slides during storm cycle.
