Upper Canyon road for a regular dog walk… Weather approached fast. Winds from the E and then NE.

Observer Comments

A couple of wind slabs were prior to that day in some convexities. Newer slabs started to form as we progressed.

I got three whoomphing collapses without propagation. Slabs was breaking on the old interface under ~6 CMS at places.

Windy and getting obscured faster. We started with good visibility, as we continued we turned around when we couldn't see much across the canyon.
