-Kicked off a couple wind slabs 6"-12" in isolated areas which did not propagate or run far. 1 skinning on Southeast face of Pastoral, 1 by another party skinning on North aspect of Pastoral.
-Sensitive cornices were easy to break.
-Cornice crevasse collapsed touring above the Bertha Creek headwall. The crevasse appears to run the entire length of the headwall cornice. The crack sits flush against the ridgetop rocks. The cornice is peeling rocks off the ridge. Appeared to be at least 8 ft deep. Luckily we were tentative, and walked what we thought was a fair distance away from the cornice, but did not expect the cornice to be peeling off of the ridge at the base.
-Surface sluff entrained a lot of snow on steep southerly face around 3000-4000' elevation.
