Snowmachined up Palmer Creek road and ran into multiple people leaving the area who told us the following: skiers parked sleds at the bottom of a run and set off a very large avalanche which ran all the way across the bottom of the valley. Multiple sleds were carried, but only partially buried. A bystander told us that as far as the skiers involved knew, nobody was buried. One passerby made a beacon search to be sure after they saw the powder cloud.
