Dug an ECT on a West aspect at 4,400 feet elevation. Clean propagation at 17 on buried surface hoar about 15cm deep. Retreated back to the valley.

Released a very small pocket windslab while stomping at a switchback. (This was on a different slope before the West aspect slope where we did the ECT.) We were experiencing active windloading while skinning. The slab didn’t release at the skinner’s feet-instead it was a bit of a remote trigger, about 5 feet to the side.
