Collapsed for 100ft or more in front of us.

Location: Notch Mountain
We spent Friday night up at the powder hut. Long difficult skin for a shallow rocky snowpack. We
herd and saw some massive whoomphs. Dug a pit right at the top of tree line above the hut. Scary
set up under there. We got a few CTE2Q1’s on a huge buried surface hoar layer 20cm from the
bottom. Not enough snow to really ski anything.
