Observation: Girdwood

Location: Notch Mountain

Route & General Observations

We ascended the cat track past the hut. Light rain at the parking lot gradually changed to snow around 1000′. Breakable crust to about 1000″ then the crust was less noticeable and disappeared above 1500″. No avalanches observed.
