Route & General Observations

Up the Cat road past cabin. Wind was gusting 10 to 20 mph from the East as we gain the ridge above the cabin. Lots of wind loaded snow. Dug pit at 2000’ on north aspect on 35 degree slope. CT1@ 25cm down on new/old snow. CT7 at 70cm down on facets. ECTP11 30cm down on new/old snow. ECTP12 75cm down on Facets both were Q2 type failures. About 20cm of facets from January facets.
