Observation communicated via person who watched event occur: 1st person triggered soft slab and was able to ski out. 2nd person triggered hangfire and was able to self-arrest on bed surface. Observer guessed depth was about 2 feet deep and most likely failed on crusts/facets beneath Valentines Day layer.
