skiing near summit st pattys day found settled pow with some wind effect/loading
near ridges, unresponsive to ski cuts west facing 3500 38*. winds avg 10mph on
ridge tops temps in low 20’s. unconsolidated blower on north and northwest
aspects with surace sluffing. temps in mid 30’s around 2000ft

no natural or skier triggerd avalanche activity was noted where we skied. west
and sw aspects Found 8 to 14″ settled powder on top of sun crust with facets
underneath, fairly clean shears with no propagation and little energy

numerous natural avalanches did occur saturday afternoon on s, sw, and w aspects
as noted on ski out. see pics
