Observation: Hatcher Pass

Snow machined from Palmer side through dogsled twords snowbird. Small Dry loose avalanches were all I observed on the route. Pit was dug before last climb up and over into snowbird and we decided not to continue, due to wind loading concerns. Soft snow first 12 inches and 2.75 ft of medium to had density snow (one finger to fist) right side up snowpack on top of very obvious Weak layer. Some very risky climbs were observed with no red flags.
