Near Point (Stuckagain Heights trail). At approximately 2,200’ I observed a large collapse with whumphing and shooting cracks just below the ridge-crest. Large wind-slabs (approx. 3-4’ thick) are present here and touchy. While the terrain seems to top out around a 25 degree angle and a slide likely wouldn’t have run far, the slabs were very reactive and cracks propagated at least 100’ across the slope as I stepped forward.
