Route & General Observations

This morning I skied up the Lost Lake winter trail past the Dale Clemens Cabin and dug a pit ~2000ft on a NW aspect 34deg slope. I didn’t observe any red flags around the treeline where I was.

Red Flags
Red flags are simple visual clues that are a sign of potential avalanche danger. Please record any sign of red flags below.
Observer Comments

Rain crust at 32cm sudden collapse on CT and ECT. ECT propagated across 3/4 of column on 21. Ski cut some low consequence roll overs on both East and West aspects with no results. The major concern is a rain crust 45cm down in the snow pack. It seems like slides could potentially be triggered on this crust with snowmachines.
