Route & General Observations

In the Alpine Front Range of Eagle River / Mt. Baldy:
-accumulations of around 4″ of snow (between 0-6″ depending on wind patterns)
-widespread drifting
-large facets at ground interface (1-2″ thick)
-cracking of snow drifts (5″ – 12″ deep) , extending up to 5′ out
