Route & General Observations

Riding around on the flats near the motorized lot today. There was about 20″ new snow since yesterday. Winds have been drifting snow and deeper areas were noted. Experienced a large shooting crack on a wind loaded feature on a small test slope. See photos below.

-Large shooting crack on wind loaded, small test slope with an unsupported slope. Shooting crack was 20' long and 3+' deep. See photos below.
-Rapid loading due to heavy snow and strong winds
