Skinned up through the trees for a quick run. There was about 5-6″ of new snow at parking area. New snow had more moisture than existing snow and we found a 1-2 mm non-supportable crust on top around 2000 feet. Once we reach the top of tree line there was noticable wind transport and we found a couple of gullies with wind slabs that were reactive. No formal test dug. We did see evidence of a natural avalanche in a gully higher up above tree line. See picture
