Watched snow boarder trigger avalanche as he came down main gully on Microdot south face. Spoke with the group as they reached parking lot. They said it was loose dry avalanche, slow moving at first then picked up speed. Snowboarder was able to continue to run out area at base of mountain before slide ripped through the bottle neck and onto the apron.
Around 3:30-4:00 p.m. I'm guessing.
