From Rae Wallace we looked across on our decent and saw a fresh skier triggered slab avalanche on south aspect of microdot. Did not appear skier was caught or carried.

Avalanche Details

Saw a new skier trigger slide on the south aspect of Microdot in steeper terrain. We had skinned up the main Rae Wallace up chute around 3pm and this slide hadn't happened yet. By the time we topped out and skied down, we saw the new skier trigger on Microdot. The crown didn't look very deep so we suspect it was on new and old snow interface. It was very cold today, 9F in the lot, so we're unsure if the sun was strong enough to aid in this slide. We could see ski tracks traverse away from the slide.
