Avalanche Details

Skied the mellow part of Vice Presidents SE ridge from Marmot towards the road. Pulled up in the middle section to navigate some wind scoured terrain. As I did I glanced to my right and noticed the slab propagating about 100 ft below me in the gully. Must have been remotely triggered as I was well in the middle of the ridge at least 100ft away. Felt no collapsing or any other red flags during the tour. Avalanche propagated quite a ways up the gully and ran to the bottom...estimating the crown at about 8 inches in depth.
