Observation: Hatcher Pass

Took a closer look at Friday’s avalanche off of Marmot that crossed the road. It is interesting to see the multiple layers that failed in the snowpack, including the facet/drizzle crust sandwich (which can be seen in the photo) which then stepped down to the depth hoar near the ground.
