Route & General Observations

Skied 3 runs on south and western aspects of Marmot ridge. Clouded-in & poor light until 4pm, when breaks in the clouds created much better skiing conditions. There was about 6″ of powder on top of what felt like an unbreakable ice crust. No red flags observed. Snow quality was very enjoyable. Sluff ran easily on steep sections and entrained much more snow until it settled.
