Observation: Summit
Location: Manitoba Mtn
On the way up Manitoba Peak here were some average snow depths on the West Aspect:
1400′ – 5-10cm
2100′ – 55cm
2900′ – 120 cm
3500′ – 150 cm
NE aspect at 3500-3700′ – 50-80 cm
No collapsing or cracking or reaction so skiers on slopes to 38 degrees. No recent avalanche activity.
