View due East towards summit of Manitoba Mtn
Observation: Summit
Location: Manitoba Mtn
Test pit dug on 1/20/13 with snow falling at 2 cm/hour. 23 cm facet layer at
base in process of retrograding to rounds. ECTP24 at base of recent snow that
fell over past several days. Attached photo taken on following day 1/21/13
with 6 inches new snow. Saw no signs of recent ava activity. Test pit 2/3 way
up Manitoba gave ECTN. Weak wind slab on upper 50 vertical feet of mtn.
