Observation: Summit
Location: Manitoba Mtn
Skied Manitoba Mountain, icy road skinned up, walked down. about 2500 to 2600
feet left crust-ice to gain snow. Partly sunny day, temps barely above freezing
no wind, and no precip.
Dug a pit 24 inches top to ground, little if no depth hoar, 18 inches of wet
rounded snow, an inch of ice then 4 or 5 inches of wet snow with a thin ice
layer on top. CT24Q3.
