Weather

Mostly cloudy becoming mostly sunny. Calm.

Snow surface

Roadside up to 2300': hard melt-freeze crust.
2300' - 3500': transitioning to a variety of wind board with pockets of loose powder surface snow.
Snow rapidly warming on all southern aspects on the ski out.

Snowpack

Dug a pit at 3300', west aspect. ECTX. HS 290cm. New snow 100cm. Pit was about 30 meters from the ridge, a fairly wind loaded location.
