Route & General Observations

Standard up-track. Good enough coverage to skin from the road. Almost enough snow on the road to leave the rock skis at home, almost. Some tussock dodging on the lower meadows. Good coverage up on the main western slope of Manitoba.

Mostly sunny, calm. 20 degrees F.

Snow surface

Velvety smooth, low density surface snow. Little or no wind affect. A variety of supportive crusts below.

Snowpack

Snow Depth at Manitoba Hut: 15 cm
Snow Depth at 2500' (south aspect): 50 cm
Snow Depth at 3500' (west aspect): 160 cm
