Route & General Observations

Skied several laps in the main bowl of Manitoba today. There was about 4-6″ of new snow, not wind affected besides on exposed ridges, and generally dry on most non-southerly slopes until later in the afternoon. Sun was beginning to really moisten the snow surface on all but the most northerly facing slopes by 2-3 pm. Overall great riding conditions in the main bowl. A few D1 loose dry and dry slab avalanches observed on the steep face just east of Manitoba.
