Felt large whumph at 3366'. Recent avalanche activity between Manitoba and Silvertip on steep slopes.

Weather

Broken skies and calm winds. 22degrees at parking lot at 1030 and 1630.

Snow surface

Breakable crust up to 1600'. Supportable crust to 2400'. Above 2400' the crust disappeared, fresh powder and wind affected snow above. Surface hoar present on all elevations.

Snowpack

Pit dug at 3366' SSW. While digging pit felt large whumph. Pit results:

Both 80cm down.
