Sunny with some thin clouds, low 20's f.
We noticed what appeared to be surface hoar between 2,400 and 3,200′ on most west facing aspects on Manitoba. I couldn’t measure its exact thickness on the surface, but felt around and it seemed to be about 2mm thick. We are interested to see how reactive this layer is after getting some snow on top of it this weekend.

3-4" of soft snow with surface hoar on top. Variable, unsupportable crust on more south facing aspects and lower elevations.
