Route & General Observations

Standard route to the the summit. No weak layers identified with pole probes and hand pits, or red flags observed on the way up.

Weather

10 degrees all day. Sunny and clear. Calm to light winds. Flagging observed on the higher peaks to the south

Snow surface

Mostly light to settled powder and a very thin wind crust up high.

Snowpack

Elevation: 3580'
Aspect: SW
Slope angle: 20 degrees
HS: 100cm
Bed surface: loose rock
Snowpack temperatures: 30F at ground, 24F at 50cm, and 8F at 90cm
ECT:ECTP 25 at the ground
PST: no propagation on the basal facets

I did not see any other weak layers besides the obvious layer at ground level
