Observed a snowmachine-triggered avalanche in Main Bowl. Rider and sled both carried. Both sled/rider stayed on top of the debris and rider was able to deploy an airbag. No injuries noted.

Sled triggered slide. Rider was climbing the slope when it released.
Watched the slide happen and spoke with the party involved.
Rider and sled both carried. Both sled/rider stayed on top of the debris and rider was able to deploy an airbag. No injuries noted.
Rider that was caught was able to self extricate.
Both riders were equipped with BEACON, probe, shovel, radio and airbags.
They also knew how to use them.
Second member of the party was in a safe zone when this slide happened.
